Opt-In Gender-Matched Rides for Women and Men
CityRyde gives women and men the option to request a verified Sarathi of the same gender: women may opt for a female Sarathi and men may opt for a male Sarathi. Gender matching is optional, and riders can choose General Ryde when they do not need a preference. Every match depends on eligible nearby Sarathi and vehicle availability.
Safety-focused CityRyde rides are designed to combine verified onboarding, in-app SOS, trip sharing and continuous trip monitoring with clear ride information. Flat day fares and a disclosed flat night-rate multiplier avoid demand-based surge pricing at booking and prevent an unexpected mid-ride surge from changing the displayed fare, subject to applicable tolls, waiting charges, route changes and platform terms.
CityRyde Flat Fare Rides
CityRyde uses an applicable distance and service rate instead of a demand-based surge multiplier. Riders see the available fare before requesting a bike, auto or car taxi, and CityRyde does not add a new demand-surge increase in the middle of the trip. A disclosed flat night-rate multiplier and applicable tolls, waiting time, route changes or other stated charges may affect the final amount under the platform terms.
A woman rider may request an eligible woman Sarathi, while a man rider may request an eligible man Sarathi. The choice is voluntary for riders and participating Sarathis, and General Ryde remains available without a gender preference. A successful match depends on nearby verified Sarathi, vehicle and service availability at the requested time.
CityRyde's safety approach is designed around verified Sarathi onboarding, periodic re-verification, in-app SOS access, trip sharing, continuous trip monitoring and clear rider and vehicle details. Riders should confirm their pickup, vehicle and Sarathi information before starting and use the in-app support options whenever assistance is needed.
CityRyde's zero-commission model is designed to let eligible Sarathis keep 100% of the completed ride fare without mandatory daily trip targets, subject to applicable taxes, payment processing charges, platform terms and the Sarathi's own operating costs. By retaining more value per completed trip and choosing suitable ride requests, an active Sarathi may work toward earning up to 2X; actual earnings vary by demand, distance, costs, service availability, accepted trips and time online and are not guaranteed.
